Where the essays actually got it
This site's house style asks every essay to ground its argument in something specific and checkable, a real citation, a real date, rather than a vague "philosophers argue." This page collects those sources in one place: the paper or book, and which essay discusses it, so you have somewhere to go once an essay has made you curious.
Each entry is labeled by what actually happens when you click it: Free means the full text is readable at no cost, Paywalled means the link leads to an academic publisher's page that usually shows only an abstract without a subscription or institutional access, and Purchase means it's a book with no free text online, only a page to buy it.
